Chamonix vibes 🌄
Awesome spot for a ski break, ja! Chilling in the bar was a lekker way to wind down, and breakfast had all we needed. Rooms fresh and cozy, even had nice balcony views!
Only issue was a bit of street noise at night, but nothing earplugs can't fix.

Separate single beds to form a double bed a little uncomfortable. Although the water pressure was good, the hand held shower made showering difficult.

Gerat hotel for a 2 star rating. Extremely well located ( 200 meters to train station and bus to Courmayeur - approx 350 meters to bus shuttle for skiing) and very central with regard to Chamonix. Breakfast was decent and fairly well stocked ....got to be a little repititive on a daily basis - suggestions: great little deli/convenience store open until 8:30 pm right across from the hotel which stocks just about everything you could imagine for lunch or breakfast. We made good use of the little fridge in the room. We were 3 people in the room and the accomodations were fairly large by European standards ...had access to a balcony with a great view on l'Aiguille du Midi and the Mont Blanc ....what more could you ask for.
Hotel decor is a little dated .....that's about the only fdownside for this hotel

This hotel is clean, but the 4PM check-in is beyond ridiculous! Who arrives at that time? I expected a kettle in my room-seriously, it's not the 1800s! It's like they just want to offer a bed and nothing more. I almost gave it a better rating, but just couldn't manage it with the inconvenience of no compensation!

The staff were really friendly and helpful particularly at the front desk. It was a friendly atmosphere in the hotel and breakfast was excellent too. We had a balcony overlooking the street which was nice and gave us an excellent view onto the mountains.
The room was so hot, and there didnt appear to be anyway to turn the heat down, it made it a very uncomfortable nights lack of sleep, if the kids hadnt been in the room we would have opened the balcony, but it was really cold out, so it wasnt ideal.

Consider bringing your own breakfast options to save costs, as local cafes have better value than the hotel menu.

The hotel is in the town centre, which gives a wide range of restaurants to choose from each evening.
The hotel room I stayed in was dated, could do with a refurbishment.
